While we have all seen a plethora of cops and robbers shows and criminal investigation programs have blanketed our television screens for nearly a decade now (we're not counting when the first few programs appeared) we must realize that this has caused as much confusion in the world of criminal justice as it has educated people in America and throughout the world. So we ask that you please keep your discussions grounded in historical or factual anchors and feel free to discuss personal experiences as well. Keep in mind that law is a subjective area in some cases and as such there may be no "right" or "wrong" answer to a question or issue. Also, unless you are a practicing attorney - DO NOT use this forum (or any MGW forums) to provide legal advice to any participant, and if you are an attorney, please make sure that your posts clearly describe your area of practice - both geographic as well as specialty.

Also, please, please, please... Do NOT post any sensitive tactical and/or personal information which may compromise the safety of any law enforcement officer(s). You never know who might be reading these discussions.
